Our Yoga Classes
Aerial Yoga
Aerial Yoga, also known as Anti-Gravity Yoga, combines traditional yoga principles with elements from aerial acrobatics. In this class we use the yoga hammock to help stretch deeper, build upper body and core strength and go in inversions to achieve physical and mental decompression. You will learn to fly, hold and balance in challenging yoga poses, become more flexible, increase joint mobility and decompress the vertebrae of the spine without strain. This class is the most fun whole-body workout. Expect laughter, gaining more confidence in your abilities and discovering all sorts of dormant muscles in your body.

Mantra Yoga
In this class we begin settling into poses while sharing a mantra or affirmation for the session. Mantras like, "I am strong," "I am grounded," or "I let go and surrender" can help maintain our focus and a connection to the state we wish to cultivate during the time on the mat. The postures chosen for this class align with what we try to accomplish in our minds. It's been said that in yoga, Asanas are postures of the body and mantras are postures of the mind.

EXPERIENCE & PASSION
I have been teaching yoga classes in this community since 2013. What started as a physical personal practice, has led me to deepen my knowledge and pursue the teaching of Yoga to truly help enhance the lives of others. I became more vibrant, alive and a found a space between the twists turns and folds to heal anxiety and bring clarity for a bigger purpose than I could have ever imagined. I am truly blessed to share my dream and passion for this amazing art and I welcome you to join me on YOUR Journey to better health and happiness.
I discovered the physical benefits of yoga after experiencing a running injury several years ago. Yoga saw me through the healing process, both physically and emotionally. As a high school teacher at Wayland Academy, I wanted to share this wonderful practice with my students, so I enrolled in a RYT 200 hour program called Breathe for Change, which is a training program designed for educators. Those 200 hours were life-changing for me personally and professionally. It is such an honor to be a part of the Elevated Yoga team!
