$12.00This special class/series will address building coping mechanisms for dealing with chronic pain. The three classes in the series will each teach different techniques to change your experience with pain.
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique. The word “nidra” means sleep in Sanskrit so it is commonly referred to as yogic sleep. During a yoga Nidra class, the instructor walks the participants though verbal instructions that focus awareness to the breath, bodily sensations, emotions and thoughts. It helps to quiet the mind, relax the muscles and calm the nervous system.
The purpose of yoga nidra is to fully relax, detach from thoughts and move into a highly restorative state.
