Yoga Retreat

NOURISH YOUR BEST SELF

An Elevated Yoga Retreat in Puerto Rico

We plan all the details so all you have to do is sign up and come with us!

Vieques — here we come again!

Join us for five nights on the beautiful island of Vieques, Puerto Rico, where yoga, ocean air, nourishing food, adventure, laughter, rest, and a little time away from everyday life come together.

Our theme this year is Nourish Your Best Self — not because you need to become a different or “better” version of yourself, but because sometimes we all need a little space to reconnect with the things that make us feel most like ourselves.

Move your body. Breathe deeply. Eat well. Explore. Rest. Laugh. Spend time with people you love. Meet new people. Sit by the pool. Swim in the ocean. Watch the sunset. Or simply do absolutely nothing for a while.

There is no one right way to experience this retreat.

Whether you’re a longtime yoga practitioner, someone who simply enjoys moving and being outdoors, or you’re coming along because your partner or friend loves yoga, there is a place for you here.

This is your invitation to step away from the usual routines and responsibilities for a few days and make some room for you.

VIEQUES — OUR HAPPY PLACE

Vieques is a small Caribbean island located about seven miles off the eastern coast of Puerto Rico. It is rustic, beautiful, wonderfully unhurried—and it holds a very special place in my heart.

One of the reasons I keep coming back is that Vieques still feels like an island rather than a resort destination. There are no chain hotels, no franchise restaurants, and no privately owned beaches. Instead, you’ll find wild horses wandering the roads, quiet beaches, local restaurants, beautiful nature, and plenty of opportunities to slow down and explore.

Vieques is home to the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge, one of the largest protected wildlife areas in the Caribbean, as well as Mosquito Bay, the world’s brightest bioluminescent bay.

And then there are the beaches.

So many beaches. And each one has its own personality—from long stretches of white sand and turquoise water to secluded coves and even a beautiful black-sand beach.

We’ve spent a lot of time exploring this island, and we’re excited to share some of our favorite places, hidden gems, local connections, and inside knowledge that you won’t find in a typical travel guide.

This isn’t our first trip to Vieques.

And that’s exactly why we love bringing you here.

THIS RETREAT IS FOR YOU IF:

You could use a little space.
Maybe life has been full lately and you’d love a few days where someone else has taken care of the details.

You want to reconnect with yourself.
Not reinvent yourself. Not check things off a self-care list. Just slow down enough to notice what you need, what you enjoy, and what makes you feel good.

You love the idea of yoga—but don’t need a yoga-intensive vacation.
Our practices are an important part of the retreat, but there is so much more to the experience.

You’re coming with someone who loves yoga.
Bring your partner, your friend, your sister—or come along even if yoga isn’t really your thing. There will be plenty to enjoy beyond the mat.

You want some adventure mixed in with your relaxation.
Explore beaches, swim, snorkel, kayak, see the bioluminescent bay, ride horses, wander the island—or discover a favorite little spot of your own.

You simply want to get away.
Sometimes you don’t need a big reason. A beautiful place, good food, warm sunshine, meaningful conversation, and a few days with nowhere you need to be can be reason enough.

NOURISH YOUR BEST SELF

What does it mean to nourish yourself?

Maybe it’s movement. Maybe it’s rest.

Maybe it’s a long conversation, a quiet morning, a delicious meal, time in nature, a swim in the ocean, a good book, a new adventure—or laughing until your cheeks hurt.

During this retreat, we’ll create space for all of it.

Nourish your body.
Through yoga, mindful movement, swimming, walking, exploring, and delicious food.

Nourish your mind.
Through slowing down, breathing, meditation, reflection, and simply stepping outside your usual routine.

Nourish your relationships.
Through shared meals, adventures, conversation, laughter, and time together.

Nourish your joy.
Because taking care of yourself doesn’t always have to be serious. Sometimes nourishment looks like fun.

And perhaps most importantly:

Nourish the part of you that doesn’t need to accomplish anything.

You don’t have to make the most of every minute. You don’t have to participate in everything. You don’t have to arrive with a goal.

You get to simply be here.

Spend time finding peace and joy in the moment to recharge your dreams for the year. Vieques is such a laid back island, with unspoiled beauty, the perfect place to slow down and connect with ways to better regulate your nervous system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Yoga experience?

Absolutely not! You don’t need to be an experienced yogi—or even consider yourself a “yoga person”—to join us. Our yoga practices will be accessible and adaptable, with plenty of options to meet you where you are. You are never expected to perform, keep up, or have a particular level of flexibility. And remember: yoga is only one part of the experience. This retreat is about making space to slow down, enjoy your surroundings, move your body, eat well, explore, rest, connect, and simply enjoy being away. If you’re traveling with someone who doesn’t practice yoga, bring them along! There will be plenty for them to enjoy while you’re on the mat.

Is a Passport required to travel to Puerto Rico?

No passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling from the United States to Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico uses the U.S. dollar, and U.S. phone plans generally work just as they do on the mainland. Getting here is easier than you might think!

How do I get to Vieques?

You will first travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and from there make your way to Vieques by either a short domestic flight or ferry. Don’t worry—we’ll help you figure it out. We’ll provide guidance for booking your transportation to Vieques and help coordinate the shuttle from the airport to the ferry if you choose that option. Once you arrive in Vieques, we’ve got you covered. Transportation from the ferry or local airport to the retreat house and back is included.

Is transportation included?

Transportation from San Juan to Vieques is not included in the retreat price, but we’ll help you navigate the options and coordinate your travel. Once you arrive on Vieques, transportation to and from our retreat home is included. Our goal is to make the logistics as simple and stress-free as possible.

Can I come alone?

Solo travelers are absolutely welcome. Some people come with a partner or friend, while others come on their own and discover that a retreat is a wonderful way to meet new people. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect with the group, but you’ll also have space to enjoy your own quiet time. You don’t have to arrive with a travel companion to feel like you belong here. If you’re traveling with a friend and would like to share a room, just let us know on your registration form and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Is this retreat just for women?

No! This retreat is co-ed and couples are welcome. We love the idea of sharing this experience with all kinds of people. You might come with your spouse, partner, friend, or by yourself. You might be a longtime yoga student, someone who enjoys an occasional yoga class, or someone who simply wants a beautiful island getaway. There’s no particular “type” of person who belongs here.

What if my partner doesn’t do yoga?

That’s completely okay! Yoga is part of the retreat, but it isn’t the entire retreat. There will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the island, relax by the pool, explore beaches, swim, snorkel, read, nap, enjoy the food, and simply take in the surroundings. You can spend time together—and you can also do your own thing. Come together. Enjoy the island together. And give each other permission to have your own experience, too.

Will I have free time?

Yes. And intentionally so. We don’t want you to come home needing a vacation from your vacation. There will be scheduled yoga, meals, excursions, and group experiences, but we’ll also build in plenty of unscheduled time. You might spend it at the pool. On the beach. Reading. Journaling. Taking a nap. Exploring. Having a conversation. Or doing absolutely nothing. You don’t have to make the most of every minute.

How do I sign up?

Once you decide you’d like to join us, you’ll reserve your spot with a deposit. You’ll then receive a registration form where we’ll collect details such as your room preference, dietary needs, and other information we need to help make your stay comfortable. From there, we’ll stay in communication with you as the retreat approaches, helping with travel logistics and answering questions along the way. Our goal is for you to arrive feeling prepared, relaxed, and excited—not overwhelmed by a list of things you have to figure out.
